They managed the residential part of the property: trained the staff, did the housekeeping and maintenance (heavy cleaning, polishing, washing, planting and care for the flower beds and herb garden). Relocated to the Chateau and the villa in Saint Tropez.  They acted as the domestic couple in other owners properties.

 

-        Monte Argentario, Tuscany, Italy, private villa. House managing couple responsable for all aspects of running a big household, including overseeing external contractors, dealing with orders, invoices, deliveries and shipments. During the summer mainly responsible for taking care of the guests and owners (grocery shopping, cooking, table service, driving.

 

-        3 years Siena, Tuscany, Italy, Private household. House managing couple: housekeeper/cook&caretaker/gardener/driver in a property consisting of the main villa and separate guest houses by the extensive gardens. Housekeeping duties included cleaning, guest service, answering phone calls, making beds, laundry, ironing and wardrobe care. Responsible for food shopping and orders. The role required occasional cooking, preparing and serving meals and maintaining household accounts.

The caretaker role was mainly, but not only, mowing the lawns, upkeep of external parts (patios, driveways), driving guests from and to airort. The property has an open swimming pool wich required care and daily cleaning when in use. They also arranged repairs and replacements as necessary, liaised with service providers (electricians, audio providers, etc)

-        6 years Parma, Italy. Head housekeeper/cook & gardener/driver/butler couple. She was taking care of flawless house presentation, preparing lunches, assisting with traditional Italian cooking, setting the table, serving, polishing silver, controlling the stock supply, managing the wine cellar, arranging the flowers, helping at parties, greeting the guests, answering the telephone, arranging the contractors visits, dealing with other staff employed.

He was helping with heavy cleaning indoor and outdoor, setting the table and serving food and drinks during parties, meals, valeting the cars, cleaning the gym, maintaining the salumi (meat) cellar, mowing extensive lawns, trimming bushes and hedges, checking the filters and doing chemical analysis of the swimming pool, walking the dogs, tidying up garages and technical rooms.
